PhilStage Gawad Buhay 2014 ay isa sa masasabi kung punong-puno ng kawanan at halakhakan sa loob ng teatro ng CCP sapagkat nagsama-sama muli ang ilan sa mga magagaling, mabatikan, beterano at mga baguhan sa mundo ng teatro. Masasabi din na ito ang pinakahihintay ng lahat sapagkat ito lang naman ang papawi sa pagod ng mga aktor at aktress sa kanilang napiling propesyon pero ika nga nila bonus na lang ang awards mas importante na nagustuhan ng mga manonood ang mga palabas na nakikita nila sa teatro.
Isa sa mga nagpabuhay ng dugo sa gabing iyon ay si Toffer Fabregas sapagkat siya ang naging host ng gabing iyon at isa pa syempre ang nag-iisang John Santos, grabe ang tawanan dun sa huli sapagkat kahit medyo matagal ang programa ay naging maganda ang smooth naman dahil sa kanya,
