Si Christian Zhan Padunan ay isa sa mga ka-org ko sa isang social media network na Ateneo-De La Salle University noon kung saan madalas kami mag-usap ng kung anu-anu mga bagay ngunit dahil nagkaroon ng problema sa site ay nagkaroon ng madalang na pag-uusap buti na lamang mayroon na facebook.
At ngaun muli kami nagkaroon ng communication at dahil parehas kami ng genre ay swak na swak kami!
Madalas naming pag-usap ang ilan mga bagay tungkol sa photography at gamay na gamay niya ito lalong-lalo na ang portraiture. Kung may pagkakataon naman ay nagkakaroon kami ng kaunting kuro-kuro kung paano nga ba ang tamang composition sa napili namin suject.

Tell me about yourself that people dont't know: Iam a Serious type of person that sometimes they
dont know that iam already hating them due to something they dont know that i dont like.
What is your current state of mind before we continue with the interview?
I just woke up and editing some photos so i had nothing on my mind but to make a great image.
How did you get started in photography?
I started photography as a hobby by the use of vintage camera collections but know i had already
teach some old people than I. I feel contented that i got a skill doing or creating some good images.
Did you go to school to study photography?
Yes, I did go to school for photography lessons and some seminars of some photographers, internet and books is also a good source of new knowledge about photography and videography.
What camera did you use?
Nikon D5000, Nikon D7000 and Canon 60D
How would you characterize the style of your photography?
hmmm... characterization... my style is not the ordinary one, coz sometimes if i know i can get a great image
or a good shot by lying on the floor ill do it for the sake of a good photo. or even going in a area with a high risk ill take a shot for it.
Can you share with us some recent images?
Yes, ill share you some of the image i got that i haven't release on any type of social medias.
And what's the story behind it?
Story? hmmm im not the usual type of photog creating story but my shoots can explain there self
like what i believe in... go shoot and let your photo explain it self without any words or saying on it, let it explain what the image shows.
Who or what influenced you to become a photographer?
No one influenced me i just love saving memories
How did you become a photographer? And When did your career start as a
professional photographer?
I became a Photographer when i started to get serious dont it and buying stuff for my hobby,
my career started as a professional photographer i guess when i was on inquirer.net (Philippine Daily Inquirer Online News).
How did you go about selling your first photograph?
Selling my first was i give it for free coz i wasnt really serious on it but when i started earning on it,
yeah i love it... coz its supporting also my needs... my first earning was i got an 5digit Talent Fee without tax which i really enjoyed.
What makes a good photographer in your opinion?
What make a good photographer is when they know how to respect their co-photographers and models or anyone they are working with even they are not around they still give respect and not bashing around.
Do You Have A Favorite Walk Around Lens...If So What Is It?
yeah, currently im always with my 55-200mm VR lens. coz it helps me alot due to its range coz i love sniping around to take a candid photo.

Which one item of equipment would you say is the most important to you?
Currently if interms of equipment ill say my continuous lights on my studio. coz i dont use flash. im just with ambient lightings.
What is the most rewarding part of photography?
most rewarding part is when i got the smiles of the client im working with or with anyone i made smile with my works.
What is your most embarrassing experience as a photographer?
When im lying on the floor indoor/outdoor, they are laughing at me due to that style.
How photography change your life?
It doesnt change my life but though it i can support my needs and make some people around me smile.
I know you been working with some of the famous and influential people in the country but may I ask whom do you wish/dream to work with and
Why?
I wish to work with anne curtis smith or maggie wilson, i just love how they bring their outfits day by day
even its just an ordinary outfit i define it fashionable the way they were it.
What tips can you give to someone aspiring to be a professional photographer?
Learn your camera first.
What are the best tools for a beginner to learn on (besides the camera)?
Books or the internet itself coz we are in digital age where internet is very useful.
What is your favourite recent image you have shot recently? Can you describe it’s creation in regards to location, lighting, composition,
camera settings etc, also your thoughts when creating the image and what it means to you?
What are the pros and cons of being a photographer? Please be specific.
pros and cons sad to say but i dont follow any pros and cons... i just love the way i do my photographs
without any limitation on creating a good one.
I know you like traveling for shoot or even for chill-out, can tell me where is the best place to be to do some shoot? and why there?
Maybe for now, its tagaytay coz i love their churches and the pine trees, but i wanna try hundred islands
but havent tried yet.
What goal are you working towards within your photography and when will you know you have reached it?
I havent think yet on my goals but one thing always runs on my mind and that is to teach and share my
knowlegde to those who are interested with it.

ill be an computer programmer, coz it was my first course and i just love computer.

Old enough? ahaha but maybe iam a retired photographer reminiscing the old days, i hope i had a child with the same passion with me.
What legacy you will leave on?
i dont know yet but maybe the smile i made with my client i satisfied with my works
