Tell me about yourself that people don't know: I have a penchant for naming my photography gadgets. I named my DSLR camera as Nina Garcia when the real person arrived in the Philippines for Fashion Week. I named my drone as Rosy.

What is your current state of mind before we continue with the interview? Call it false modesty but I’m still humbled and wondering what reasons you did find for me to be featured as a photographer.

How did you get started in photography? When I started travel blogging, taking photographs is inevitable. Sometimes, one photo itself can tell the travel story.

Did you go to school to study photography? No.

What camera did you use? I started with Canon S110 point and shoot and moved to Canon 60D. Interestingly, I am enjoying mobile photography now with my iPhone.

How would you characterize the style of your photography? I am still looking for my own style.

Who or what influenced you to become a photographer? The need to accompany my blog posts with photos.

How did you become a photographer? And When did your career start as a professional photographer? Self-taught but I don't see myself as a pro yet in photography.

How did you go about selling your first photograph? I haven't tried that one.

What makes a good photographer in your opinion? If you see most of his subjects in real life but he photographed and presented it in a different and calm way.

Do You Have A Favorite Walk Around Lens...If So What Is It? None.

Which one item of equipment would you say is the most important to you? The battery, it's the life.

What is the most rewarding part of photography? When you get to inspire other people to travel as well.

What is your most embarrassing experience as a photographer? When I got in the front of the media box but I realized that what I only got is a point and shoot and every one else at the back was holding their bazooka-like lenses

How photography change your life? It becomes a break from the usual daily routine.

I know you been working with some of the famous and influential people in the country but may I ask whom do you wish/dream to work with and why? There are so many of them! From the photographers to the models. Anyone from them who will join me to take shots at Mt. Apo. That would be awesome.

What tips can you give to someone aspiring to be a professional photographer? It is really demanding. It will take a lot from you, time, money, patience and the heart. But nothing goes wrong if you give your heart.

Here the 6 exclusive fotos provide by Jonas Fabian Roque, fresh from Indonesia trip.

What are the best tools for a beginner to learn on (besides the camera)? VSCO packs for post-processing

What is your favourite recent image you have shot recently? Can you describe its creation in regards to location, lighting, composition, camera settings etc, also your thoughts when creating the image and
what it means to you? That would be one from the Parang Pag-ibig LRT posts. While it got an overwhelming response from the social networks regarding the captions, I also got positive remarks from photography wise. It is fulfilling to hear that some people will never look at the MRT the same way again.

What are the pros and cons of being a photographer? Please be specific.
Cons: You don't get photographed the way you wanted to be photographed.
Pros: Pass to events

I know you like traveling for shoot or even for chill-out, can tell me where is the best place to be to do some shoot? and why there? Batanes. Every spot is photograph-able!

What goals are you working towards within your photography and when will you know you have reached it? If you get invited to be a juror in a competition where thousands of professionals and amateurs join, that's when you'll know you are THE photographer.

What photographic organizations do you belong to? FunTastic Philippines, Jaywalkers PH, Instameet Philippines, Canon Click Club

Name a photographer you would like to take a portrait of? Edwin Martinez

If you weren't a photographer or a multimedia artist, what would you want to be? Why? Programmer because what I've studied in the academe.

How do you see yourself 20 or 30 yrs from now? Had traveled all the continents and had beautifully documented it with my lens.

What legacy you will leave on? Fun in #hugot photos

Any final message? It's your time to shine... I am not a great photographer. But I can picture you and I together.

Once again thanks  Jonas Fabian Roque for this wonderful and cool conversation about photography.

Hope to work this guy or collabration soon..
