Hot Spot : Mark Joren Crisologo

Isa si Mark Joren Crisologo o mas kilala bilang Joren Crisologo sa mundo ng instagram na hinahangan ko ng lubos pagdating sa pagkuha ng mga larawa na may temang flatlay, hindi ko nga lubos maisip na makikilala ko siya ng personal sapagkat bibihira na lamang akong umattend ng mga instameet. Kaya naman laking tuwa ko na nakilala ko sya noong sumama sya sa amin para sa biglaang Manila By Night mini series sa taon na ito. At doon ko nakilala si Joren ng lubos na sobrang bait, willing to learn at humble kaya naman hindi na ako magtataka pa kung bakit madami syang naging followers sa IG hindi lamang sa aking galing nya sa pagkuha ng larawan kundi pati na rin sa kanyang personalidad.

How did you get started in photography?
I saw my cousin’s phots and I was so inspired!

Did you go to school to study photography?
Nope.

What camera did you use?
Fujifilm X-a2

Who or what influenced you to become a photographer? 
My cousin namely Jenah Mendoza

How did you become a photographer?
I started by using my ipad’s camera.

And When did your career start as a professional photographer? 
I think, simula nung nagkaroon ako ng camera, dun ako nagsipagag-aralan gumamit ng manual, at para maging professional photographer

Which one item of equipment would you say is the most important to you?
I think the lens.

What is your most embrassing experience as a photographer?
I think, yung pahiga-higa ko sa kalsada makuhanan lang ng shot!

How photography change your life?
Dito ko nahanap kung anu talagaang talent ko!

I know you been working with some of the famous and influencial people in the country but may I ask whom do you wish/dream to work with and Why? 
Jireh Forester, kasi para sakin, he is one of the most talented grammer in the Philippines.

What tips can you give to someone aspiring to be a professional photographer?
I think, be yourself  lang, and need mo lang talaga maging creative at syempre dapat alam mo yung use ng aperture etc.

I know you like traveling for shoot or even for chill-out, can tell me where is the best place to be to do some shoot? and why there?
I think, Palawan is the best place to shoot for me, because it has a wonderful view nasa tingin ko mas better siya compared sa iba and remember,  Palawan is also the best island in the world.

What goal are you working towards within your photography and when will you know you have reached it?
To make my own studio and I think marereach ko yun ka pata koy nagging professional portrait photographer.

What photographic organizations do you belong to?
None.

Name a photographer you would like to take a portrait of?
I want to be portrait by my photographer friends. Like Bryan Mecardo, Patricia Curitana, Jim dela Cruz etc. because I know they have the real talent to do a portrait of me!

If you weren't a photographer or a multimedia artist, what would you want to be? Why?
I want to be an architect! Because I also loves to sketch building 

How do you see yourself 20 or 30 yrs from now? A
 successful engineer and architect! hahahaha

What legacy you will leave on?
I think, yung paggawang mga flatlays :)
