“Photography 101: A Basic Photography Workshop” will be conducted by advertising and commercial photographer Pet Salvador, President of the Makati Camera Club, and aims to teach participants the basics of operating a digital SLR camera and as well as practical photography tips and tricks to hone their skills.


Learn the basics of operating a digital SLR camera, achieving proper exposure, applying the elements of design and basic composition.Workshop will also include a practice shoot and critique session.


The workshop is open to all kinds of participants, from beginners to hobbyists or even those who just simply enjoy taking pictures. Topics to be covered in this day-long affair include: Photography Basics, Objectives of Photography, Camera Controls, Exposure, Mood or White balance, Different Kinds of Lenses, How to Use Your Camera and Types of Composition. Participants will also have a chance to capture the beauty of Batulao during the on-site practice shoot which will be followed by a critique session.

Registration Fee: P500 (inclusive of lunch and snacks)
*Participants are required to bring their own digital SLR camera with controls for aperture and shutter speed as well as their camera's user manual (if available).

Workshop starts 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Assembly time is 8:00 AM at Nale, Sandari Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas.
